I am a Senior Researcher at the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance, primarily working on the reintroduction of ʻalalā, the native Hawaiian crow, and on conservation breeding for the Pacific pocket mouse. More broadly, I am passionate about connecting science to conservation management, especially in the field of animal behavior and cognition. When I’m not in the field for research, you can find me running many miles of dusty trails.

Please feel free to contact me with any inquiries relating to my research or this site.
